The ACT-DI-V Toolkit, is a constellation of pedagogical practices, strategies and guidelines regarding the promotion of active and responsible citizenship, and constitutes the first work package of the project. The consortium has gathered relevant material through a systematic review of the national and European literature in the field of active citizenship while conducting online surveys and focus group discussions in each partner country. The Toolkit is structured as follows: ● Section 1: Pedagogical framework on Active Citizenship Through Dialogue in Virtual Teacher Communities: A detailed outline of strategies, guidelines, tips, and concrete methodologies that can be followed at three educational levels (pre-primary, primary, and secondary). ● Section 2: ACT-DI-V readiness checklist: A checklist for school leaders and teachers to measure their readiness for promoting active and responsible citizenship through dialogical practices. ● Section 3: Best practices: A collection of 20 best practices which are tools/platforms, initiatives, projects, and resources in the field of active citizenship. The ACT-DI-V toolkit has been developed in five languages (Greek, Portuguese, English, Italian and German) and is available for download below.
